Confine.com

Work Schedule changed this week and it has been a bit more of a stumbling block than I thought it would be. I’ve decided to not retreat because of this stumble, I’ve decided then that if I have time to allow such stupid problems I’ve got time for more activities so I’m pressing and it looks like I’m joining a programming competition next month, I’m trying to add more social things into my schedule, And I think I’m finally going to start working on learning python. All the while I need to keep up with my work at my job, Keep up-to-date on class assignments and in some cases work a head. Its going to be a challenging semester but I need it this way I think.

New school year is underway, switched schools back to my old one after experiencing set backs at my more recent school. As such I’ve not had lots of time to do the kinds of things I wanted over the past few months, but I think I’m getting back in the swing of it and I expect to post some simpler items soon as I move back towards a firm grounding in java.

So I’ve been browsing the themes provided by tumblr and I’ve decided that I don’t want to pay $50 for a theme that I will end up spending weeks tweaking. So for my first project that will be based out of this blog will be to say that I will be making my own custom theme that I may end up trying post for sale in the garden when I’m finished. So while not like super exciting I guess I mean this as a warning that if things break it will be fixed… eventually

“Irrelevant things go unnoticed”

There are very few words I can think of to express my happiness to finally use this domain. I’ve been the caretaker for the confine.com domain name for years now, and I always have wanted to do something other than email with it. My ideal scenario has always been to use it as a sounding board for my trials and tribulations with programming, and as my education has taken swerve after swerve so have my plans. But now as I find my education getting on the right track I think its time I try to get this site on track as well.

So as my predecessor wanted with this site before he passed it along to me this site will be about programming. I will post about projects I try and headaches I encounter as I zero in on my Bachelor’s degree. Things could vary from trends I like, to posting links to my github projects, code snippets, etc.

So yay first post done! time to start working on post number two!
